Just for a laugh if you made a 3rd movie what would you call it & what would it be about? I'd Call it The Rutles 3 Rutle Slumbers itwill all be in the solo years I'd say after Dirk did Punk Floyed he got deaf & couldn't hear and wasn't seen again. Stig got fed up being a woman as a Air Hostess & carried on being quiet & taught people how to eat Curry, Barry kept being a Hairdresser but made alot of albums including "BARRY RAMBLES" After being in his wheelchair Dirk manaeged to write songs including "Give Peas A Chance. Since Dirk was deaf & unable to hear he didn't manage to reunite wit the others to record Archeology.

Well, the problem is, that's not quite true. You forgot to mention the albums that Dirk and Punk Floyd made before he "went into comedy" (let's stick by the official excuse for now, shall we?): Dark Side of the Sun, Band on the Loo, Venus and Marbles, and White Dopes on Punk. After he "went into comedy," he laughed at the idea of joining the Archaeology project, and did not appear, with the exception of a few previously unreleased songs featuring Dirk.
Also, Stig didn't go right into Air India; before he joined up with the airlines, he released a solo album called All Things Fall Down. The title track and "My Sweet Rut" were minor hits, until some bloke named George Harrison accused Stig of plagiarizing a song of his called "My Sweet Lord" and it turned into a lawsuit.
Barry, of course, had Goodnight Vietnam and that 1980's dance mix of "When You Find The Girl Of Your Dreams In The Arms Of Some Scotsmen From Hull."
And who would forget my solo album, Polyvinyl Wicker Trio? If Chastity (oy...I mean Gwen, d**n name change) was good at anything, it was producing a good record. It was no chart hit, but hey, my back was turned on the world and thusly touring was a pointless exercise.
Just being informative, R. Nasty
(OOC: This is stuff that is true, as reported by Eric Idle and Neil Innes in interviews over the years.)
